Summary: It's Aqures Ixen's First Annual Date Auction!

It's finally here. The night that will either springboard new relationships, kill wallets, or maybe both at the same time. Even though Saori maybe still be a bit salty at Brigid for signing her up to her crazy idea, she had to give the Moogle some credit. The enthusiastic fuzz ball of a shipper on deck managed to get a good chunk of both Heroes and Moogles rather hyped about this date auction. Not to mention quite handful of them were all to happy to help with preparations.

[One would think that, as short as she is, she's not going to be much help with the decorations. But there's no one more willing to scale the tallest ladders and reach up to the highest places than Rukia. Chappopo works hard too, usually sticking close to Rukia and whispering excited questions to her. Excited secret questions. To these, Rukia responds in a similar fashion, but always with a reassuring smile. Seems like they managed to work out their former difficulties nicely.]

She is wearing her dress for the event and she doesn't seem all that worried about ruining it while she's getting things ready.
Zelda tucks a loose strain of gold behind her ear as she smiles at the almost ready room. This is going to be an exciting day and she's already feeling a little giddy. She can't wait for the bids to start, of course it's all in good spirit and for a good cause.]
Vincent and Ophelia--OTA
Not to mention he was amused by his moogle-companion's glee over it. Vincent hadn't done much, although he'd dressed up a bit. If he was going to do this for charity, he'd do it right at least. Same black suit, not unlike what he'd worn as a Turk once upon a time, that he wore when working his Library shifts. White shirt, black tie, although this time his gauntlet was present. As was the gunbelt around his hip, in easy reach.
The little moogle had insisted he let her do his hair though, so the black strands had been tamed a bit. He still wore his red-headband, and his hair had been brushed so it was smooth. With crimson eyes, in all black and white, Ophelia felt he made a striking picture.
SHE visited the salon, so her fur was fluffed, and her usual long red scarf was draped around her like a shawl rather than how it normally trailed behind her.
[OOC: Official Turk-Vincent artwork...since he's going for the vibe. Fanart of the same. Vincent's hair is long, held by a red-bandanna, and he has his gauntlet but otherwise this is what he's wearing, in black.]

Naturally, she did feel empathetic towards Heroes and Moogles who were signed up by someone else. As a way to apologize for Brigid's actions, she even prepared boxed dinner. Eventually, Brigid had to shoo her off so she could get ready. Saori does come back dressed in a simple dress.
Brigid still can be found flying all over the place until the doors open to welcome the guests.]

[D's brows twitch and he resists the urge to shoo his Moogle across the event area. Auction him off! Oh all the ridiculous ideas! But he was here now. He could at least entertain the Moogle. Hell, it wasn't like he would be bids on anyway. Maybe that would stop this dating nonsense Lefty seemed to think D needed to open up.
Sword, cloak and hat were gone. Lefty refused to tell the vampire where he hid them until the event was over. Therefore D was clothed in his black harem like pants, sided in knee high leather boots and the silly laced up, pirate shirt with ruffles on the collar and cuffs that his Job have him.
With the equal soured expression in his face, he walked in hoping not to be noticed.]

[Just a few days ago, Graham was telling Fai how he wasn't the sort of person who got invited to parties, and frankly he didn't care. However, the other moogles laid the pressure on Kuprono, who usually avoided his Hero as much as possible, to make sure he showed. Kuprono guessed that telling Graham what was going on was probably a bad idea, and he guessed right. So Graham is here, and has no idea what's about to happen, and is talking to no one in particular. But hey, free food!]

Sonic was busy leaning back on a chair, his feet up on the chair in front of him... and he looked quite annoyed.
"Eh, it was something for you to do." Bean replied, the Moogle cocking an eye in confusion as Sonic rolled his eyes. "What?"
"Bean, these sorts of things are not my style!" Sonic replied. "Even if it's a one time deal, I don't like being tied down by something like commitments! And even though I got a job, it's only to get out and see the world!"

One noticeable thing is very much the fact that Sephiroth cleans up well. It's quite likely that his hair has never been made to shine as fully as it does tonight, during the time he's spent in Crystallis at least, all let down to its fullest length and looking both soft and glistening as if it were molten; not a stray hair in sight. True to the upcoming-blurb, it does indeed carry an assortment of fragrances to it also - though underlying with a sharp tang of polish and leather-oil.
He wears the signature uniform that best embodies the pride about himself that had before coming to Crystallis. The leather was all oiled up so that it looked almost new, and the armor at his shoulders caught the light inside in a way that they might have done before they'd ever been used in a battle. It was difficult to tell, if it were sweat in the window of flesh at his chest and throat or if he'd oiled the skin there some as well.
He stays toward the perimeter of the gathering of people, nearest to a wall most of the time. Occasionally sipping at a glass of water.]

Good evening and welcome to the First Annual Aqures Ixen Date Auction, kupo! Tonight we have a lovely line up of both Heroes and Moogles who are happy to provide a date to support a wonderful cause! While we still have a long road ahead, it's important to also create bonds with each other.
Some lucky Heroes and Moogles may walk away from this auction with a new sparring partner, a friend or perhaps something more, kupo! I wish everyone good luck!
[OOC: Each character will get their own thread. Bids will close on Sunday night, 8 PM Hawaii time or 2 AM Monday EST. The starting bid will be 50 Gil for everyone.]
